Privacy Policy
Your data, handled like our own.
Last updated: August 7, 2026
1. Who we are
ShipKit, Inc. ("ShipKit," "we," "us," or "our") operates the website at shipkit.site and the ShipKit marketing service. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have over it. It applies to visitors of our website and users of our services.
2. Information we collect
We only collect information that we need to run the waitlist and the product:
- Information you give us. When you join the waitlist, we collect your email address. If you create an account or contact support, we may also collect your name, company name, and any information you choose to include in messages to us.
- Account and content data. When ShipKit becomes available and you connect your social media accounts, we collect the account identifiers and content you choose to connect, so we can generate and schedule your content plan.
- Usage data. We automatically collect limited technical data such as your browser type, device type, IP address, and pages visited, to keep the site secure and understand how it is used.
3. How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Manage the waitlist and send you access invites and product updates.
- Provide, maintain, and improve the ShipKit service.
- Respond to your questions and support requests.
- Detect, prevent, and address technical issues, fraud, or abuse.
- Comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your email or your content to advertise other products to you, and we never spam.
4. How we share information
We share information only with service providers that help us operate the site, and only to the extent needed for their role. These include email and form-processing providers (such as Web3Forms for waitlist submissions), hosting providers, and analytics providers. Each provider is contractually required to keep your information confidential and to use it only to provide services to us.
We may also disclose information if required by law, court order, or government authority, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of ShipKit, our users, or the public. If ShipKit is acquired or merged, your information may be transferred to the new owners as part of the transaction.
5. Cookies and analytics
Our website uses minimal cookies and similar technologies. We use the Google Fonts service, which may process your IP address when fonts are loaded. We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate site usage without identifying individual visitors. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
6. How long we keep information
We keep your email address while you remain on the waitlist or use our services, so we can deliver the access and features you asked for. When you unsubscribe, request deletion, or stop using our services, we delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable period, unless we are required to keep it by law.
7. How we protect information
We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit (TLS), access controls, and secure infrastructure, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. We will notify you of any confirmed data breach that affects your personal information as required by applicable law.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. If you are in the EEA or the UK, you can also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address below. We will respond within 30 days.
9. Children
ShipKit is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify waitlist members by email. Continued use of the site after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
